Today i wanted to see how much will it cost me to take a weekend trip to the 3 big cities in Midlands : Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester. I was shocked and the first thing i did was to book a weekend and tickets for this tour. All they asked for me was a lousy 5 pounds in exchange (because i bought them in advance >30 days).
Having this in mind: i can't wait to see the powerhouse of the Industrial Revolution in Britain, the world's first industrialized city and the city of my favorite football team.

Too many options....
London is a city with to many sights to be seen. :)
Today, as usually, i planned to go to Camden Town market, but instead i ended up wandering on Portobello Road, walking in Battersea Park and shopping in Hammersmith's King Street.

The Killers
"I've got soul but i'm not a soldier...."
Today was the best concert ever that i attended : The Killers at Wembley Arena. The sang for just 1 hour and 30 minutes but the atmosphere, the people, the lights, the sound, the set-up, the band, the songs, the encores were no.1.
My first week in London finishes now and i can say, that yes i am falling in love with this city. From the best steak in town (as Timeout points out) eaten at an Argentinian restaurant , from the beauties of the Science Museum (particularly Game on exhibition that ended today and IMAX new movie : The King of Kalahari), from the overcrowded tube full of tourists at weekends, to the splendid new Wembley stadium (to be re-opened in May) ... from all points of view this city can give you great experiences in just 24hours.
I just downloaded the pictures and movies that i took with The Killers :)....Just seem to not get distracted by anything else than them now.

Finally Bucharest will try to ad it's name to the already big list of Summer Festival Cities. I am really looking forward to see how this one will develop, but already Marylin Manson, even not at the peak of his career, is a good act for Bucharest.
In the mean time , my first step for attending the best summer festival on the planet is done. I registered online at http://www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk/ in order to be able to be get a chance to buy a ticket. For the moment The Killers, Kylie Minogue and Bruce Springsteen are rumors , but i hope for more surprises.
